The Greek government has postponed until June 15 the closure of the border with Albania.

The announcement was sent to all border crossings between the countries.

Until June 15, only Albanian citizens in Greece will be allowed to cross the border into Albania for tourist reasons (90 days) and only Greek or Albanian citizens with a residence permit in Greece will be allowed to cross into Greece.

Also, only seasonal employees who have been provided by their employers with a work contract, converted into a residence permit, will be allowed to travel to Greece. This category will travel only in cases where a special residence permit has been approved.
